According to Chinese customs statistics, in the first 11 months of this year, China's imports and exports totaled 35.39 trillion yuan, an increase of 22 percent over the same period last year and 24 percent over the same period in 2019.
Of this total, exports totaled 19.58 trillion yuan, up 21.8 percent over the same period last year, up 25.8 percent over the same period in 2019; imports totaled 15.81 trillion yuan, up 22.2 percent and 21.8 percent over the same period in 2019; and the trade surplus was 3.77 trillion yuan, up 20.1 percent over the same period last year.

In the first 11 months, China's general trade imports and exports totaled 21.81 trillion yuan, an increase of 25.2 percent over the same period last year (the same below), accounting for 61.6 percent of the total value of foreign trade.
Of this total, exports totaled 11.91 trillion yuan, up 24.9 percent, and imports totaled 9.9 trillion yuan, up 25.6 percent.

ASEAN is China's largest trading partner, accounting for 14.4% of China's total foreign trade value. The second to fourth places are the European Union, the United States and Japan.
