Belarusian News Agency Minsk, February 17, Belarusian state legal portal released news on the same day, according to the resolution of the Council of Ministers No. 82 of February 15, 2022, white began to implement the export licensing system for white sugar.

 
The document stipulates that regardless of the country of origin of white sugar, exports outside of Belarus will require a one-time license issued by the Ministry of Antimonopoly Control and Trade in consensus with the Belarusian State Food Industry Concerns. This permit is issued with reference to the rules for issuance of authorizations and permits for export and/or import of goods as set forth in the Annex to the Protocol on Non-Tariff Regulatory Measures against Third Countries (cf. Annex 7 to the Treaty on the Eurasian Economic Union of May 29, 2014).
 
The Resolution does not apply to goods used as international humanitarian aid and reserves on the basis of the Resolution of the Government of Belarus, nor to goods that begin and end international transit traffic outside the customs territory of the Eurasian Economic Union and transit through Belarus for circulation within the Eurasian Economic Union member states in accordance with the customs procedure.
 
The main provisions of the resolution will come into force from the date of its official publication and will be valid for six months.
